Cleaning of Oil and Diesel.
We clean and maintain oil to better quality than new oil down to NAS 3 to 5. Purifiner has a unique oil cleaning technique, a cotton filter and vaporizer of water from the oil.
Ing. Åge S. Wågene started his technical company in 1976 within compressed air engineering and worked nationwide with the sale and service of compressors and compressed air tools.
Firm represented FF Luft AS Denmark and the ABAC group in Italy. In 1999, the company started development of an oil purification plant specifically for hydraulic and lubricating oil, and from 2001 the finished product came on the market.
The company focused its sales on shipping in Norway in the first years, but naturally entered the international market. The world’s shipping industry discovered Wågene’s construction to effectively keep the oil clean of particles and water in the oil. In 2011, the compressed air business was sold out of the company to focus 100% on oil maintenance.
In recent years, diesel maintenance has also entered the market. In 2011, the company changed its name to Wågene Purifiner Technology AS.
The company has invested in building up an agent network for shipping all over the world and has delivered more than 3,500 plants to the world market – shipping, offshore and industry.
Some of the largest customers are Carnival Cruises, the world’s largest cruise line and Bourbon Offshore France, one of the world’s largest supply lines.
